kyra wendelken (dancer)

Kyra Wendelken, of Long Island NY, started her classical ballet training at age of three years old with her mother Jacqueline Jaramillo at the Seiskaya ballet school. After that she received a full scholarship to the Orlando Ballet School and trained with Peter Stark for seven years. She then studied at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet for one year under the direction of Marcia Del Weary as well with Laszlo Berdo and Leslie Hench. Kyra then was offered a position with The Washington Ballet for two years under the direction of Septime Webre. Kyra is thrilled to be part of Ballet Nepantla.
