Rudyck Vidal (musician)
Rudyck Vidal is an upright and electric bass player born in Mexico, currently residing in NYC. He plays in genres ranging from traditional music of his native Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Spain, as well as Jazz, and Cuban music. He began his formal music studies in Instituto Superior de Musica del Estado de Veracruz under Carlos Villareal’s studio. He was part of the faculty of Centro de Estudios JAZZUV, from Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico from 2009 to 2011, when he moved to the United States. Rudyck has shared the stage with Giovanni Hidalgo, Osmany Paredes, Miguel Valdez, David Sánchez, Ivan "Melon" Lewis, Jose "Pepito" Gomez , Ari Hoenig, Axel Tosca, Jimmy Bosch, Marvin Dizz, Christopher Crenshaw, Jason Palmer, Bobby Sanabria, Janne Bunnet, Hector Martignon, Mino Dominique Cinelu, Jimmy Bosch, Christos Rafalides, Bill Ware, Rudy Bird, Feipe Fournier, Xiomana Laugart, Oriente Lopez, Arturo Ortiz and more. Rudyck is currently musical director and bass player of his own band, Adderesound, where he features his own original compositions and arrangement abilities in themes from the Latin Golden Age. Rudyck is currently producing band’s second album in NYC.
